What are you passionate about?
There are so many things that I am passionate about. My family is first. They are my inspiration and the reason I smile every day! : ) Second, comes fitness. I’ve been in this industry for over 12 years and I have more passion for it today than I did 12 years ago. Group fitness has changed over the years, for the better. The Les Mills programs have been one of those changes. These programs are my passion. I love them, I live them and I teach them in that way! I hope to inspire others every day and teach them to not only live healthy for the moment, but to live healthy for life.
Why do you love teaching Les Mills programs?
The Les Mills programs are not only safe, effective and fun, but they are inspiring. They not only inspire the participants in class, but they inspire me as an instructor, to push harder and to be stronger! The music is off the charts, the choreography is energizing and the atmosphere is magical. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss!
How did you get started in the Fitness Industry?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University. I worked as a strength and conditioning coach at Rutgers University for about 2 years and then started my career in Corporate Fitness. After 4 1/2 years I decided to continue my education and earn my teaching certificate in Health and Phys. Ed. I worked as a teacher for 1 year and then decided to stay home to raise a family. I have an amazing husband and 3 beautiful children. . .twin girls and a boy. They are my inspiration. I have been teaching group fitness classes for 12 years. I am currently certified through AAAI as well as BodyPump, BodyStep, and BodyAttack. The Les Mills programs are the best group fitness classes in the world. They inspire me every day to be stroner and live healthier, and they will do the same for you!
